Privacy Policy

Summary: Kronoloom is a privacy-first application. All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal information.

1. Information Collection

We do not collect any personal data.

Kronoloom operates entirely offline. The app does not:

  • Require user registration or accounts
  • Collect analytics or usage statistics
  • Track your location
  • Access your contacts, camera, or microphone
  • Send any data to external servers
  • Use cookies or tracking technologies
  • Read files outside of what you explicitly select

2. Device Permissions

Kronoloom requests the following device permissions:

  • Storage/Gallery Access: Required to let you attach files and images to your notes and File Vault. Kronoloom only accesses files you explicitly select — it does not scan or read other files on your device.

All files you attach are stored locally on your device and, when placed in the File Vault, are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption.

3. Data Storage

All data you create in Kronoloom (timelines, events, notes, and files) is stored locally on your device only.

  • Local Database: Your timelines, events, and settings are stored in a local database on your device.
  • Encrypted Content: Sensitive data such as notes and files in the File Vault are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption with a device-specific key.
  • No Cloud Sync: Your data is never uploaded to any cloud service or remote server.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share any data because we do not have access to it.

Since all data remains on your device, there is no data for us to share with third parties, advertisers, or any other entities.

5. Notifications

Kronoloom may send local notifications to remind you about your timelines and events. These notifications:

  • Are generated and managed entirely on your device
  • Do not require an internet connection
  • Do not transmit any data externally
  • Can be disabled in the app settings or your device settings

6. Third-Party Services

Kronoloom does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

7. Children's Privacy

Kronoloom does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

8. Data Security

Your data security is ensured through:

  • Local-only storage: Data never leaves your device
  • Device encryption: Sensitive content is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256-GCM
  • No network access: The app operates without internet connectivity

9. Your Rights and Data Control

You have complete control over your data:

  • Access: All your data is visible within the app
  • Modification: You can edit or delete any data at any time
  • Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device
  • Export: You can backup your data using your device's standard backup mechanisms

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
